Tauron New Music Katowice – a four-day celebration of electronic music in a post-industrial landscape.Between 6-9 July 2017, artists like Róisín Murphy, The Cinematic Orchestra, SOHN, RY X, Gang Gang Dance, Gold Panda, Hercules & Love Affair, Clark Luke Vibert, Christian Loffler + Mohna (a/v live), Mall Grab and more.

In a closed coal mine in Katowice converted into a Culture Zone the Festival presents each year the most interesting newcomers and the biggest names in contemporary electronic music, as well as jazz and hip-hop artists. Tauron New Music Katowice is a three-time winner of the European Festival Awards prize for the Best Small Festival in Europe.

Between 6-9 July 2017, artists like Róisín Murphy, The Cinematic Orchestra, SOHN, RY X, Gang Gang Dance, Gold Panda, Hercules & Love Affair, Clark Luke Vibert, Christian Loffler + Mohna (a/v live), Mall Grab and many, many more, will be performing at the Festival. There will be 8 stages at the event, including dedicated stages prepared by the most renowned electronic music institutions – the Red Bull Music Academy and T-Mobile Electronic Beats!

All this will be taking place in the heart of Silesia, a fascinating region rich in monuments of industrial past softened with inviting green spaces. It is located only 80 km from the Krakow’s Old Town, enchanting its visitors with its unique atmosphere! All within easy reach from the Czech Republic – it is only 95 km away from Ostrava to Katowice, some 250 km from Brno and a four-hour drive from Praha.
