The symbolic duel of ancient Gods Neptune and Mars staged on music and dances of court composers of the Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia Leopold I. and the Sun King Louis XIV, Le Roi de France.

Music and dance performance inspired by the pictures on the theme of hunting. The charming symbolic meeting of shepherds and nymphs, led by the Goddess Diana.

VIVAT CARNEVALE

The symbolic music and dance contest for the Crown of King Carnevale. Entertainment is full swing. Harlequin and Colombina together with other characters of commedia dell'Arte will spend a genuine carnival night.

In a sublime environment of palace Clam-Gallas, in the courtyard one of the most beautiful Prague Baroque buildings, the top Czech artists specialized on authentic performance of baroque music will appear. Musicians, singers and dancers in period costumes and masques will present music, arias and reconstruction of dance and ballet of the famous operas XVII. and XVIII. century. 

In an exceptional stage performance you will hear music by J. B. Lully, M. Marais, A. Campra, G. Finger, T. Albinoni, G. Bononcini, A. Vivaldi , G. F. Händel, J. Mysliveček and W. A. Mozart performed by Baroque Orchestra Carnevale (Hipocondria Ensamble) and reconstructions of historical dances The Danseurs Nobles  or The Hartig Ensemble - dances and ballets with three centuries, will dance.

Performance starts at 8:15 PM

A wonderful hour concert will allow you to imagine the beauty and elegance of 17th and 18th century.

Aperitif is served during the break.

Duration: 1 hour concert + 15 minutes break (From 8:15 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.)

Le meilleur de l'été à Prague !! Une vraie soirée baroque, unique et insolite !

Un cycle de musique et de danse organisé au cours de la saison d’été. Les musiciens et les danseurs vêtus en costumes de l’époque présenteront la reconstitution des plus grands opéras et ballets de l’époque du baroque, qui en ces temps faisaient partie intégrante de la vie sociale au sein des cours royales. Sans exagération on peut dire que ces manifestations en étaient le point culminant. Carnevale Baroque Orchestra présentera la musique d’J. B. Lully, M. Marais, A. Campra, G. Finger, T. Albinoni, G. Bononcini, A. Vivaldi , G. F. Händel, J. Mysliveček and W. A. Mozart, les danses du XVIIe et du XVIIIe siècle seront présentées par Danseurs Nobles et Hartig Ensemble – Danses et Ballets de trois siecles. 

Le spectacle commence à 20:15 heures 

Une heure d'un beau concert vous d'imaginer la beauté et l'élégance du 17ème et 18ème siècle.

Apéritif  est servie pendant la pause.
