OPERA BAROCCA - A Baroque Soiré, Carnival Music & Dance Performances
Carnevale Prague in cooperation with the Institute for Baroque culture prepare for the carnevale saison 2012 serie of music and dance performances OPERA BAROCCA. In one of the most beautiful Prague baroque palaces. The top Czech artists specialized on authentic performance of baroque music will appear in a program called VIVAT CARNEVALE. Musicians, singers and dancers in period costumes and masques will present music, arias and reconstruction of dance and ballet of the famous operas XVII. and XVIII. century. In an exceptional stage performance you will hear music by A. Vivaldi, G. F. Händel, W. A. Mozart, J. B. Lully, A. Campra, G. Finger and T. Albinoni performed by Carnevale Baroque Orchestra (Hipocondria Ensamble) and reconstructions of baroque dances Danseurs Nobles and Hartig Ensemble.

In the 18th century, the City of Prague was famous for its splendid carnival calebrations. On masquarade balls, which were very charming and artful, the celebrities of the those times had their Rendez-Vouses. King’s Prague was the only one place where Mozart and Casanova used to meet personally. Of course, during Carnival Season...

Costume lends 1 day before Crystal Ball at Boudoir in Pachta Palace on Friday 17. 2. 2012, rental is for 3 days and should be ordered in advance.

Price of loans depends on the type of costume and its complexity and extra orders: (wig or coiffure - hair design from own hairs, make-up, costume assistance)
