The biggest music tour is to be contionued! RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have announced the extension of their world tour. By the end of 2011 they will perform in a few cities, and for next year they have confirmed new dates in Europe. The first shows in 2012 will be indoor, followed by big open air concerts.
Grammy award-winning and multiplatinum REDHOT CHILLIPEEPERS are oneof the most successful rock artists in history. They sold over 60million albums, won a Grammy in almost all categories in whichthey were nominated: best rockalbum, bestrock artist,best rockperformance...,carrying the title of the most performed band onradio stations – whose number one spot on the list maintainedfull 81weeks. Not surprising that nowadays they are among the mostly requested performers. Their unique and distinctive sound is basedon a combination of rock, punk and funk. That’s I’m With You, truly the beginning of a new era for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The 10th album of the Los Angeles band’s singular career sees the band refreshed, renewed, once again working with producer Rick Rubin (their fifth partnership, including the last album, 2006’s monster Stadium Arcadium two-CD tour de force). It expands the same combination of funk and finesse, intensity and tenderness that’s made the Peppers sine qua non in modern rock, but with a new set of life experiences from the intervening years that coalesced into a dynamically fresh start.
The "I'm With You" tour supports the Los Angeles band's tenth studio album, released in August this year, which includes singles such as "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" and "Monarchy of Roses." The latest tour also features the band's newest addition, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who replaced John Frusciante. Klinghoffer joined frontman Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea and drummer Chad Smith in 2010 for their latest album.
