This concert is a successful compilation from the repertoire of artists who perform in The Prague Spring International Music Festival, in the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Český Krumlov Chamber Music Festival and the Dvořák Festival. The top artists are Jitka Hosprová and Markéta Mátlová and Ensemble Martinů in chamber music. This concert will feature a lyrical melodrama by Jiří Matys after a poem by Jiří Wolker and the mythical Sapientia by Jiří Teml after a Latin text. Most of the programme, however, consists of very famous arias for soprano and quartet or piano as well as key compositions and evergreens of viola scores. One of the greatest chamber compositions by Fibich will be performed at the end of the concert in the Rudolph Gallery, which boasts splendid acoustics and architecture.
