STRINGS OF AUTUMN
JAZZ CLASSICS TRADITION EXPERIMENT
International music festival
15th Year
Prague, 19 September–21 November 2010
15 YEARS OF STRINGS OF AUTUMN – 15 years of discovery
It is fifteen years since the first Strings of Autumn festival took place in 1996. Since that time, the festival has established itself as one of the best-loved and most-respected in Prague, with its eclectic mix of jazz, classical, and world music and its appetite for musical discovery. The fifteenth anniversary will be marked by this year’s Inspirations series, which sees the return of three artists whose first appearances were landmarks in the festival’s history – each in a new concert programme and in venues new to Strings.
