A theatre troupe gets involved in an espionage struggle with the Nazi occupiers. By means of creativity and perfect knowledge of their art, they win the battle by applying purely theatrical means. The play originated on the basis of the script to the famous film comedy of the same name, shot by the celebrated German director Ernst Lubitsch in Hollywood in 1942.
